The JROTC Leadership course is a good opportunity to gain experience. To develop and new skills. "The War Wagon" was one of my favorite activties at the leadership course. This taught you how to control water damage in a boat.

I attended the JROTC Leadership Program during the summer of 2008 and I had a great time. The hands-on expierance we had that summer was unforgetable. Expierances like the Damage Control tank, and learning to drive a boat with expieranced Coast Guard auxiliarists were things I couldn't expierance anywhere else. Also, the food was amazing. The classroom lessons were sort of boring but other than that I had a wonderful time. I learned so much that summer and made several friends.

I attended the Coast Guard JROTC summer leadership course during the summer of 2007 and it was an awsome experience. the things that we got to do at the base gave me memories I will never forget. like driving the boat, and the damage control tank. It also instilled in me a sense of unity and comradery with the other cadets that attended the course with me. The course is amazing learning experience that I would take again in a heartbeat

I attended the JROTC Leadership & Skills Program during the summer of 2006 and I loved it. It gave me the oppurtunity to experience the daily life at a Coast Guard Base. Not only was it fun but I gained a lot of leadership skills; The same leadership skills I use today as being the Deputy Battalion Commander for the 1st Make in the year 2008-2009. I got to get closer to my fellow Cadets and learn the essence of teamwork. I would recommended this course to anyone who wants an unforgetable summer.

I attended the CGJROTC Leadership Program during the summer of 2007. It was a great experience. It is incredible to see all the things we learn in the classroom put into action. We met with at least one person from each rating that they have at the base. We were also toured around more than one cutter. At the small boat station at the base, they showed us the 41' boats, the 25' boats, and my favorite, the 33' boats. Near the course, we were taken out on one of the 33' boats and allowed to drive it. We were allowed to participate in PT with the base, and it was intense and fun. The experience was so great, I volunteered to work at the small boat station during the school year on weekends.

I attended the jrotc leadership porgram during the summer of 2008 and it was a great experience. The program taught me a lot of things including leadership skills. We went on boat rides, learned seamanship skills and also went inside of a couple of cutters. The leadership program helped me bond with other cadets and learn new things about them. If I could partake in the leadership program again I would do it in a heartbeat.

I attended the JROTC Leadership Program during the summer of 2007 and it was a unique experience. I remember the different activities, lectures, and food. There were many team building activities such as the Damage Control tank. Along with that, the lectures usually led to a similar activity or demonstration. For example, the boat trip where each person got to drive a patrol boat. The food was extremely good, and it was interesting to see different people from the same school, who barely knew each other to all work together know each other in the end.

I attended the JROTC Leadership Program during the summer of 2007, and I had a really great time. The summer leadership program was very hands on, from the damage control tank to driving a 25 footer. The food at the base was also amazing, from the cookies to the last piece of brownies. But I felt that we could have done more team based activities. I would also recommend the leadership program to all cadets who haven't taken it yet, it’s a thrilling and amazing experience.

During the summer of 2007 I attended the JROTC leadership program. This program really helped me further develop my skills I needed to know to become a better leader. Throughout this program I learned how to deal with being a leader in different situations. I espcially enjoyed the feild trips to the boat yards. I enjoyed this aspect the most because it gave an inside look to one of the various jobs the Coast Guard performs. This experience expanded my knowldge about Miami and its port. Repainting the salute guns, chamber, dive bell and the anchor in front of our school was an interesting oppertunity, becuase it showed how all of cadets worked as a team. This gave a time to come together and paint objects that are significant to our school and the Coast Guard. From everyhting that I went through in this program it helped me learn more about who I am as a leader and allowed me to aquire a new perspective of the Coast Guard. Also I would highly recommend any one who is involved in the Coast Guard JROTC program dedicate one summer to the leadership program.
